ToggleMeaningful Community Activities from Binh Thuan Plastic Group
On January 14th, Binh Thuan Plastic Group (BPG) – a pioneer in plastic pallet manufacturing in Vietnam, collaborated with SCG Chemicals Public Company Limited (SCGC) and its subsidiary Long Son Petrochemicals (LSP) to conduct meaningful corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities in the Vung Tau area.

Environmental Cleanup Campaign and Sustainable Development
As part of the program, the Volunteer Team from Binh Thuan Plastic Group joined forces with SCGC and LSP Volunteer Teams to implement an environmental cleanup campaign around the Long Son Petrochemical Complex area. As a leading enterprise in plastic pallet rental and auxiliary plastic production, BPG consistently prioritizes community and environmental activities.

Activities such as waste collection, landscape improvement, and environmental protection awareness not only created a clean, green, and beautiful appearance for the area but also helped raise community awareness about environmental protection. Notably, BPG introduced a circular economy model in recycling and reusing plastic pallets, contributing to reducing environmental impact and optimizing resource utilization.

Exchange of Experience and Learning about Sustainable Development
Significantly, the program went beyond environmental cleaning activities to provide BPG volunteer team members with opportunities to explore and learn more about ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) sustainable development initiatives being implemented at LSP. Through this, BPG had the opportunity to learn and exchange experiences about applying green production technology, optimizing energy in the production process, as well as modern corporate governance solutions being applied at LSP.

BPG’s Commitment to Sustainable Development
Binh Thuan Plastic Group commits to accompanying the local community through meaningful activities, not only contributing to economic development but also promoting environmental awareness and sustainability. The collaboration with SCGC and LSP in these activities clearly demonstrates the Group’s efforts in sustainable development of the plastic industry, from applying advanced production technology to building a professional and transparent working environment.

The program concluded successfully with enthusiastic participation and high responsibility from the volunteer teams. This marks the beginning of long-term cooperation between BPG and partners towards the goal of building a green and sustainable community, while affirming the Group’s pioneering role in promoting sustainable development in Vietnam’s plastic industry.
